The Nigerian government has received a total of 400 deportees from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), comprising 90 females and 310 males, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja
This comes after recent deportations of Nigerians from Turkiye (103 individuals) and Saudi Arabia (264 individuals, whose visas were cancelled upon arrival).
The deportees were received by various government agencies, including the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, and the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
