A promising young architect’s life was cut short on the evening of July 9, 2024, when Adzo Ahadzie, a 600-level Architecture student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), was involved in a fatal bicycle accident on campus.
The tragic incident occurred along Club House Road within the university premises. According to an official announcement on KNUST’s social media platform, Ahadzie, a 6th-year master’s student, was struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle.
Despite swift efforts to save her life, Ahadzie unfortunately succumbed to her injuries after being rushed to the KNUST Hospital. The university’s official statement read:

On Tuesday evening, Adzo Ahadzie, a KNUST 6th-year Master of Architecture student was knocked down by a vehicle while riding on her bicycle along the Club House road, KNUST.
The student died after she was rushed to the KNUST Hospital on Tuesday night.πππ”
