Man Burns Twin Sons With Hot Knife

One Emeka Richard has been arrested for assaulting his seven-year-old twin sons with a hot knife in Delta State.

Richard reportedly heated up the knife and burned the minors’ buttocks with it for playing outside their apartment in Agbarho, Ughelli North council of the state.

It was learnt that they lost their mother last October.
A rights activist, Comrade Israel Joe, said he asked neighbours to rescue the children from the father, after a Facebook user informed him of the assault around 10pm on Monsay.

He said the State Ministry of Women Affairs has been contacted to take charge of the children.

Police spokesman Bright Edafe confirmed Richard’s arrest.
