Thieves steal 200 sneakers.. but all for right foot
The criminals got off on the wrong foot.
Three people broke into a shoe store in central Peruvian city of Huancayo and snuck off with more than 200 sneakers.
But their large haul – which the store owner estimated to be more than $13,000 – was useless because all the shoes were for the right foot.
Surveillance video captured three bumbling bandits stealing 200 sneakers worth an estimated $13,000 from a Peruvian store – but they were all for the right foot.

The thieves may find it difficult to find buyers – unless they are left-foot amputees.
Surveillance video captured the fleet-footed but bumbling trio breaking a padlock to gain entry in middle of the night and using a tricycle to steal the shoes from several brands.
“We have gathered evidence at the scene. The unusual thing about this robbery is that shoes from only the right foot have been stolen,” local police Chief Eduan Díaz told local media.
“With the footage and the fingerprints, we will be able to locate those individuals,” he said.
