Famous Kenyan singer Otile Brown is mourning the death of his unborn child.
Otile has announced that he lost his unborn baby.
The ‘Nabayet’ singer took to Instagram to update his over 2 million followers on the status of his baby, noting that he never questions God.
“It’s all good. God you know I never ask or question you… All I do is smile and stay positive. Our baby didn’t make it, I guess it’s not my favourite year no more,” Otile Brown wrote.
The sad announcement came just a week after he revealed that he was going to be a father. Though, he didn’t reveal the identity of his partner.
On June 25, Otile excitedly shared on Instagram that he was on the road to fatherhood.
“Bizeee will soon be a pope, Inshallah… I will love you so much baby #Inshaallah,” Brown posted.
The announcement surprised fans who are not used to getting stories about the inner life of the star.
As congratulatory messages trickled in, fans also camped at his Ethiopian ex-girlfriend Nabayet’s page, showering her with goodwill messages.
However, Nabbi, as she is fondly known, took to social media to set the record straight clarifying that she was not the woman carrying his baby, but expressed gratitude for the well-intentioned messages.
“Lol, I didn’t know but thank you,” Nabbi wrote to a fan, accompanied by a laughing emoji.
As he mourns the loss, Otile Brown has now deleted all posts from his Instagram page.
