Nollywood special effect make-up artist, Hakeem Effect narrowly escapes from kidnappers
Nollywood special effect make-up artist, Hakeem Ajibola, popularly known as Hakeem Effect, has recounted how he and his family escaped narrowly from kidnappers while travelling through Ikenne, Ogun State.
The award-winning make-up artist disclosed this in a post on his Instagram page, stating that the gunmen attacked the bus he was travelling with, alongside his wife and staff.
While expressing appreciation to God for safety and life, Hakeem said his driver, known as Legba, was shot at a close range, as bullets were flying everywhere during the attack.
He wrote;
”I thank God almighty for my life and the lives of my crew, we were attacked by kidnapers just after ikene 20minutes ago , they shot at us shattered the glass, kidnaped people …..but i thank God im alive, i thank God my driver (legba) was shot at at a close range ,but God saved him bullet flying everywhere but God drove it for us , me my wife and my staffs are alive”
