A massive fire broke out late last night in a converted townhouse in the heart of South Kensington, London, resulting in the hospitalization of eleven individuals and the evacuation of 130 residents

Emergency services were summoned to Emperor’s Gate around 12:30 am on March 1, as flames rapidly consumed the terraced house, now converted into multiple flats.
The London Fire Brigade, deploying nearly 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines, battled the blaze that had spread from the ground floor to the top floor and roof.
Rescue efforts were underway, with two individuals saved from a second-floor flat, one from the first floor, and an additional two from a fourth-floor residence.
All eleven individuals were treated on-site for smoke inhalation before being transported to various London hospitals and major trauma centers.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
