Canadian rapper, Drake, has suffered a significant gambling loss after betting $565,000 on Tyson Fury to defeat Oleksandr Usyk
This marks yet another substantial loss for Drake, who has previously lost large sums of money on sporting events.
Usyk made history by becoming the first undisputed heavyweight boxing champion in 24 years, adding Fury’s WBC title to his collection of WBA, IBF, and WBO belts.
Before the fight, Drake revealed on Instagram that he had gambled $565,000 on Fury to win, with a potential payout of over $1 million if Fury emerged victorious.
However, this is not the first time Drake has lost a significant amount of money on a sporting event.
He previously lost a six-figure sum after Anthony Joshua’s knockout win over Francis Ngannou and another $700,000 when Dricus Du Plessis beat Sean Strickland at UFC 297 ¹ ² ⁴.
