A disturbing video circulating on social media shows a young boy from Benue state being questioned about his attempt to poison his mother
The boy confessed to being given a substance by an unknown individual and ordered to add it to his mother’s tea.
He claimed the stranger, a bearded man he had only met twice, approached him twice with the poison.
The boy revealed that his biological parents had disowned him after he was adopted by his current mother, who had taken him in after he moved in with his boss’s daughter.
The boy pleaded for mercy when confronted with the severity of his actions.
