TikToker Peller has accused some street popcorn sellers of damaging his cars after he stopped giving them money whenever they approached him.
Peller said the problem started shortly after he bought his Toyota Camry in Lekki. He recalled giving one group of sellers ₦100,000 and later giving another group ₦50,000.
According to him, he kept giving them money whenever they approached him because he thought it would make them respect him. However, he said that things changed when he stopped handing out cash, with some of the sellers allegedly resorting to throwing stones at his car and damaging the glass.
While expressing his frustration, Peller told the sellers to stop coming close to his vehicles and demanding money from him.
“Na because I dey give them money, that’s why they dey do like that,” he said.
