18 people have been arrested by the Lagos police at the Lekki Tollgate during a the #EndSARS Memorial protests at Lekki Tollgate
The peaceful protest, held on Sunday, turned rowdy after police intervention with tear gas.
Arrested protesters include Remilekun Orunsolu, Olamide Thomas, Micheal Adedeji, Adeseye Eshe, and Olamilekan Sanusi.
Also Omoyele Sowore tweeted, “The most senseless police force in the world. Why attack peaceful protesters? Did Nigeria Police think brute force saves Buhari, Tinubu, and @jidesanwoolu from Lekki Toll Gate massacre accountability? NEVER!!! #RevolutionNow.”
