The Lagos State Command has confirmed that it confiscated the three dogs that allegedly k!lled a security guard, whose identity is yet unknown, in Pinnock Estate, Ilasan, Lekki area of the state
The police also confirmed the arrest of the owner of the fierce-looking dogs, Salisu Mustapha.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known in a statement released on Wednesday.
According to him, the dogs are in their custody and are receiving better treatment to avoid infringing on animal rights.
“The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olanrewaju Ishola, psc+, mnips, assures residents of the estate and the entire people of Lagos State that the ongoing investigations will be brought to a conclusive end, and justice will be served as appropriate,” the statement added.
