Anthony Joshua, a former world boxing champion, is currently on vacation in Nigeria and was hosted by President Bola Tinubu at his Ikoyi residence in Lagos on Wednesday

During the visit, Joshua presented the president with an autographed boxing glove.
The 35-year-old boxer, born in the UK to Nigerian parents from Sagamu, Ogun State, arrived in Nigeria a few days ago and has been spotted enjoying various vacation spots across the country.
Earlier on Monday, he was received by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun at the government house in Abeokuta. The governor honored him with the title of “sports ambassador” and encouraged him to continue making the state proud.
Joshua’s visit comes four months after his surprising defeat to Anthony Dubois in their IBF heavyweight title fight in September.
