The Kano State Government has strongly opposed the tax reform bills proposed by President Bola Tinubu
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, represented by his Deputy, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, announced the state’s position during the 2025 celebration at Filin Mahaha, Kofar Naisa open theatre.
In a statement issued by Ibrahim Garba Shu’aibu, Chief Press Secretary to the deputy governor, Gwarzo emphasized, “This tax reform bill is not the solution to our economic challenges. Kano State stands firmly against any policy that negatively affects the welfare of our people.”
