Real Madrid took the lead early through Kylian Mbappé, but Barcelona quickly responded with a spectacular performance. Lamine Yamal equalized in the 22nd minute, followed by Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Alejandro Balde adding to the scoreline, giving Barcelona a commanding 4-1 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Raphinha scored his second goal to extend Barcelona’s advantage. Despite a late surge from Real Madrid, including a brilliant free-kick goal by Rodrygo, the match was sealed when Barcelona’s goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny was sent off for a foul on Mbappé in the 56th minute.

Barcelona held firm despite being reduced to 10 men, securing their 15th Spanish Super Cup title. The victory marks a significant achievement for Flick, who has started his tenure with success.
