A longtime friend of skitmaker Cute Abiola has expressed disappointment over how their friendship has changed since Abiola became successful.
The man, who posted old pictures of himself with the comedian, explained that his concern has nothing to do with expecting financial support or wanting a share of Abiola’s achievements. Rather, he feels the friendship they once had should not have faded simply because their circumstances changed.

He explained that being there for each other should go beyond the good times, especially when two people once shared difficult moments and built a bond when neither had much.

In a viral post, the man wrote:
“This is not entitlement. This is about loyalty, brotherhood and genuine friendship.
“I have read some of the comments on my throwback video, and I feel the need to clear something up. This has never been about entitlement, or expecting anyone to share their success with me.
“I am not saying anybody owes me their success. I am not asking anyone to carry my responsibilities or fight my battles for me. But sometimes, brotherly love means more than just words.
“If we were brothers when we had nothing, why should the bond suddenly become meaningless when one person is struggling and the others are succeeding?
“This is not entitlement. This is about loyalty, brotherhood and genuine friendship.”
His main concern is that a friendship built during difficult times should not lose its value simply because one person has moved ahead in life.
