The ongoing online dispute between singer Spyro and music executive Ubi Franklin has taken a new turn with a lighthearted reaction from renowned artist Davido
The conflict began when Spyro accused Ubi Franklin of using Davido’s name to secure a performance in Ghana without proper compensation. Spyro claimed that Ubi promised payment for the event, allegedly linked to Davido, but the payment was never made.
In response, Ubi Franklin refuted these allegations, stating that Spyro owes him a 10% commission from a car purchase he facilitated. Ubi explained that he helped Spyro secure a car deal worth ₦105 million, with the agreement that Spyro would pay him a 10% commission upon completing the payment. According to Ubi, Spyro completed the payment in December but has yet to honor the 10% agreement.
Amidst the escalating tension, Davido took to social media to share his amusement, stating, “Pls I’m sorry I can’t stop laughing oh God.” His reaction has since gone viral, adding a humorous twist to the ongoing dispute.
