A young Nigerian man who will turn 27 in November has expressed frustration over being unemployed and still living with his parents, saying he feels like his life is going nowhere.
He explained that he has no job or source of income and often feels lonely because he has no close friends, romantic partner or active social life.
In the post, he showed the room where he sleeps, pointing out that even his bed and pillows were provided by his parents. His current situation has left him feeling like he is falling behind while others his age seem to be moving forward with their lives.
“I feel like my life is wasting away. I’m isolated. I feel like I’m lagging behind so much,” he said.
He explained that he has been trying to improve his situation by himself, but things have not worked out as he hoped. Despite his efforts, he feels he has made little progress and is struggling to figure out what to do next.
