Over 40,000 books and journals catalogued at the expansive library of the deposed emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi, have been allegedly evacuated from the palace.
According to twitter user Abubakar Sadiq Kurbe (@iamKurbe) who seem to know a lot, the books were successfully evacuated from the palace. He then tweeted photos of the books and after they were evacuated.
In another tweet, he also claims the former Emir is now in Lagos, in what he termed a breaking news. This however, is something we can’t confirm.
