Renowned footballer Odion Jude Ighalo has made a remarkable revelation about his dedication to tithing, disclosing that he has consistently honored this spiritual practice since his professional debut in 2005

In an exclusive interview with Rasheedat Ajibade on Ash Christ TV, Ighalo shared the poignant story of his inaugural salary of N15,000, which marked the beginning of his tithing journey.
Inspired by his pastor’s teachings, Ighalo has remained steadfast in his commitment, never faltering in his obligation to give.
Ighalo also recalled the internal conflict he faced when he first received his salary, as he was tempted by voices urging him to withhold his tithe.
However, his resolve prevailed, and he has since maintained an unbroken record of tithing.
He said: “My first salary was in 2005 as a footballer. It was N15,000 and because my pastor taught me about tithing, I have been paying until today. I haven’t missed paying tithe”, “If you can be faithful with little, you will be faithful with any amount that comes your way,”
