Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has publicly called out popular food content creator, ChefT of Diaryofakitchenlover, for ignoring her request to appear in one of her cooking episodes to promote her upcoming movie
Sharing a screenshot of their conversation, Wumi revealed that she had reached out to ChefT with a polite request to collaborate.
Her message read:
“Good Morning sis. Would love to feature. I have been a lover of your page for a while. I don’t know if any of your cooking episodes is coming soon, as my cinema debut is coming in September. Me wearing a T-shirt of it while cooking on one of your episodes—I don’t know if and how it works with you.”
However, it appears that ChefT did not respond to the request, prompting Wumi to express her disappointment publicly.
Captioning the screenshot, the actress wrote:
“ChefT @diaryofakitchenlover feels she doesn’t need anyone again, na only she. You grow, her grow. Shey na December me sef come out????”
In a follow-up post, Wumi seemingly threw shade at ChefT, writing:
“Shout out to great people who have grown and still maintain healthy collaborations….”
The post has since sparked discussions among fans, with some supporting Wumi’s stance while others believe ChefT had the right to decline or ignore the request. Neither ChefT nor Diaryofakitchenlover has publicly responded to the call-out.
