The assembly’s Public Relations Officer, Bello Madaro, confirmed the de.ath to newsmen in Gusau on Wednesday.
Daji was elected to the Zamfara Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Madaro said that the lawmaker d!ed in his Gusau residence on Tuesday, following a brief, undisclosed illness.
Until his de.ath, the lawmaker was the Chairman of the Assembly’s Committee on Humanitarian Affairs.
