Among younger men today, asking women what they bring to the table has become a common question in dating conversations, especially when it comes to choosing a partner for marriage.
While some see it as a way to understand what a woman offers in a relationship, others believe men should also be ready to answer the same question.
American TV host Steve Harvey addressed this idea in a post he shared on his page, he wrote:
“When you ask a woman what she brings to the table, you better have a table.”
His statement points to the importance of self-awareness in relationships. Before expecting a woman to meet certain standards, a man should also consider what he can offer, whether it is stability, love, respect, commitment, or emotional support.
