A funeral service for Abisola Kola-Daisi, daughter of late former Oyo State governor Abiola Ajimobi, has been held in Lagos, days after her de.ath in the United Kingdom
Abisola d!ed on March 27, 2025, at the age of 44.
She is survived by her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, their three children, her mother and siblings.
Her de.ath came nearly five years after the passing of her father in June 2020.
Funeral rites began with a worship and tribute event tagged An Evening of Worship & Tribute held on Wednesday at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island.
Attendees dressed in ‘white with a touch of yellow’ in honour of her memory.
The main funeral service followed on Thursday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), City of David Parish in Oniru, Victoria Island.
The dress code for the day was ‘black with a touch of sparkle’.
Since her de.ath, tributes have poured in across social media, with many describing her as a light in the lives of everyone she encountered.
