Nasboi, has vowed to continue his mission despite a car accident that occurred during his ongoing 36-day nationwide campaign to secure a feature from Afrobeats superstar Davido

The artist, who is currently on a self-driven tour across Nigeria, shared a heartfelt press statement from Abuja reaffirming his commitment to the journey.
Eight days into his campaign, which has seen him visit state capitals with a placard boldly requesting a verse from Davido, Nasboi was involved in a car crash. While the accident was serious, he survived unhurt and expressed deep gratitude for his safety.
In the official statement, Nasboi reflected on the growing meaning of his mission:
“Exactly eight days into my 36-day campaign across Nigeria, what started as a bold, creative plea for a verse from the legendary Davido has now taken on a life of its own.
Yes, the accident happened. I’m alive, and for that, I am grateful. And yes, it was terrifying.
I have seen the concerns, the criticisms, and the backlash. I hear you. But I refuse to let this moment be defined by fear, shame, or public opinion.”
He made it clear that the campaign has evolved into something more personal—beyond music or clout:
“This journey is no longer just about music. It has become a personal mission to prove that I can weather storms, face real danger, and still keep moving forward. It’s about resilience. It’s about showing the world—and myself—that once I set my heart on something, I finish it.”
Nasboi emphasized that he would continue, not out of desperation, but out of purpose:
“I will continue this campaign not out of desperation, but out of purpose. I hope someone out there sees this and finds the courage to keep going, even when the road gets rough.”
He concluded with a powerful affirmation:
“We rise not by convenience, but by conviction.”
