Skit maker Zicsaloma has questioned how quickly mobile data gets used up in Nigeria after comparing his experience with internet usage in the United Kingdom.
The content creator expressed surprise at how 75GB of data could run out in a single day, especially when he recalled using just 10GB during a two-week stay in the UK.
In a post he shared, he said:
“How can I finish MTN 75GB in one day, if I do 20GB in hour it’s finished meanwhile I used just 10GB for two weeks in the UK?”.
His complaint comes as many Nigerians continue to question why their mobile data runs out so quickly, especially with the high cost of buying new bundles.
Zicsaloma is not the only public figure to complain about data consumption in Nigeria. Asa Asika, Davido’s manager, had also raised concerns about how quickly his data ran out, despite spending much of his time at home or in the office, where Wi-Fi was available.
Asika listed several data subscriptions he had purchased, including multiple 25GB bundles and a 75GB plan. He questioned how his data could run out so frequently when he had also spent time outside Nigeria during the period.
