Halle Bailey’s ex, rapper and YouTuber DDG, has been granted a temporary restraining order against her, just weeks after the actress secured her own restraining order against him over allegations of physical and verbal abuse

Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., known as DDG, 27, filed for the restraining order against Bailey, 25, on Wednesday. This filing comes three weeks after Bailey requested sole legal and physical custody of their son, Halo.
In her custody petition last month, Bailey sought permission to take Halo with her while filming in Italy.
This week, DDG requested an emergency hearing seeking sole legal and physical custody of their son and asked the court to prevent Bailey from traveling internationally with Halo. However, the court denied his request for an emergency hearing until a formal hearing can be scheduled.
In his court declaration, DDG alleged that he suffered physical abuse and coercion from Bailey. He claimed she “poses an immediate threat to my safety and emotional well-being and, more importantly, to the stability and safety of our son.”
DDG also accused Bailey of routinely using emotional coercion, including threats of self-harm, when he attempted to leave their relationship. He alleged she “weaponized” their pregnancy by threatening to abort their baby if he did not reconcile or comply with her demands. Additionally, he claimed Bailey invaded his privacy.
Supporting his claims, DDG submitted statements from his mother, Tonya Granberry, and her fiancé, George Charlston. Tonya alleged they found several AirTags “left behind” by Bailey, which she described as a “clear and deliberate pattern of unauthorized surveillance and stalking.”
On Wednesday, the court issued a temporary protection order for DDG, barring Bailey from harassing, assaulting, stalking, impersonating, or surveilling him. However, the court denied DDG’s requests for “no-contact” and “stay-away” orders pending a full hearing.
DDG’s lawyer, Larry M. Bakman, told “Good Morning America” that custody issues remain unresolved and that DDG is committed to resolving them through legal channels rather than public opinion. A hearing on both parties’ restraining order requests is scheduled for June 24.
Bailey’s representatives did not immediately comment on the restraining order against her.
