General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has paid a courtesy visit to the newly crowned Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade

The monarch shared moments from the visit via his Instagram Story on Tuesday, posting photos that captured the warm exchange between the revered cleric and the royal household.
Pastor Adeboye, accompanied by other church leaders, was seen praying for the Alaafin in one of the photos, as palace members bowed their heads in reverence. The visit is seen as a gesture of goodwill and spiritual blessing for the new monarch.
Oba Owoade ascended the throne following his official coronation on April 5, 2025 — nearly two years after the passing of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III in April 2022. His appointment had earlier been approved by Governor Seyi Makinde, with the staff of office and certificate presented to him on January 13.
The visit by Pastor Adeboye adds to the growing list of dignitaries and well-wishers who have honored the Alaafin since his installation.
