Ex-reality TV star, Angel Smith has made headlines after causing chaos to recover the sum of N17m from a N19m deposit she made for a car
Angel, who rose to fame from Big Brother Naija, had earlier posted on her status that she would storm the dealership the following morning—and she kept her word. Upon arrival, she locked the gate from outside, preventing anyone from entering or leaving the premises.
In a show of defiance and determination, Angel was seen holding a koboko (horsewhip), symbolizing her readiness to take matters into her own hands if necessary. Her actions were aimed at forcing the dealer to refund the money she had paid since May for a vehicle that turned out to be defective.
Throughout the day, Angel continued uploading damning reviews from other dissatisfied customers, exposing a pattern of complaints against the dealership. The public pressure seemed to work in her favor.
By the end of the day, she confirmed that she had received N17 million of the N19 million she was owed. However, she noted that B2 million was still outstanding and vowed to return the next day to recover the remaining amount.
