According to multiple reports, including transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray and Napoli have reached a full agreement for the 26-year-old. The deal is worth a total of €75 million, structured as €40 million upfront, €35 million in a year, plus a 10% sell-on clause and performance-based bonuses.

The agreement also includes a key clause preventing Galatasaray from selling Osimhen to any Italian club for the next two years.

Osimhen’s move comes after a highly successful loan spell at Galatasaray last season, where he scored an impressive 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances—leading the club to a domestic double.

Despite interest from several European giants including Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Manchester United, as well as a lucrative offer from Saudi side Al Hilal, Osimhen ultimately chose to return to the club where he rediscovered his best form.

Negotiations with Napoli were far from straightforward, with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis standing firm on the striker’s €75 million release clause. But Galatasaray’s persistence paid off, securing one of the most high-profile transfers in their history.

Osimhen is expected to sign a four-year contract with Galatasaray, reportedly earning around €18 million per year.

While Napoli have already moved to reinforce their frontline with Romelu Lukaku and Lorenzo Lucca, Osimhen’s departure marks the end of an era for the Serie A side, who he helped lead to a historic Scudetto in the 2022/23 season.

With this move, Osimhen becomes one of the most expensive signings in Turkish football history and will be expected to spearhead Galatasaray’s domestic and European ambitions.
