Social activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) led a protest in Auchi, Edo State, by blocking Dangote trucks from the roads until the company takes responsibility for accident victims
The protest was sparked by a recent incident where a Dangote truck crushed a young woman, Ruth Otabor, sister of BBNaija winner Phyna, resulting in the amputation of her leg.

VDM, alongside students of Auchi Polytechnic, demanded justice and compensation for the victim, as well as other accident victims.
“The people of Auchi have no choice but to stop all Dangote drivers from using our roads until the company compensates victims, regulates its drivers, and takes full responsibility,” he stated.
The protest follows another tragic incident involving a Dangote truck that resulted in the loss of three lives, prompting condemnation from Apostle Johnson Suleman, General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry.
VDM vowed that Dangote trucks would not be allowed on Auchi roads until justice is served and adequate compensation is given to the victims.
