Spanish La Liga club, Sevilla, have confirmed the departure of Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho after both parties agreed to terminate his contract by mutual consent
In a brief statement released on Monday, the club announced: “An agreement has been reached with Kelechi Iheanacho to rescind his contract. Best of luck for the future, Senior Man.”
Iheanacho, popularly nicknamed “Senior Man,” joined Sevilla in the summer but struggled to establish himself in the squad.
The 28-year-old had been brought in to strengthen the attack following his free transfer from Leicester City, where he spent seven years and scored over 61 goals across all competitions.
