Do Juju to protect yourselves from bandits – Alleged Pastor tells congregation

A TikTok video has shown the moment an alleged pastor, Oloruntimilehin Daramola urged his followers to “get fortified” to protect themselves from potential attacks

The clip, shared on a page appearing to belong to him, @kingbosoro, shows the cleric in a purple robe and cap, wearing a cross chain.

Introducing himself as the Founder of The Omnipotence Mission of God, Daramola encouraged his congregation to take measures he claimed would shield them from armed assailants.

He also called on the Federal Government to allow broader access to firearms for Nigerians.

The pastor touched on Nigeria’s political structure, suggesting that if the current union no longer works, the country’s regions could separate peacefully. He then instructed his members: “Go and do something that can protect you, so that if they come with guns to your surroundings, they will face each other and shoot each other.”

He further recommended unconventional methods for self-protection, adding: “Or you should get bees to chase them, or if they are coming to your church, they should be dead before getting there. All my members must do it. If I say they should do it and they don’t, I will send them away because I don’t want any of my members to die.”

Daramola stressed that he cannot feel secure while his congregation is in danger.

Referencing past attacks, he said victims who called on Jesus were still killed: “When they got to Owo, some people shouted the name of Jesus. Jesus had the power to save them, but He said, ‘Until you get to heaven.’ In Kaduna, churches were attacked and several worshippers called on Jesus, yet they were killed. Why? Jesus said, ‘We will meet in heaven.’”

He claimed his ministry has branches in the United States and the United Kingdom and invited people to meet him privately for advice on “the right steps to take.” Addressing critics, he said: “If they like, call me the pastor who talks about charms. I don’t have powers, but if you put me on the ground, I will bite you.”

Daramola warned that members who refuse to follow his instructions would be expelled: “Any member that I asked to use the charms and doesn’t, I will chase them away because I cannot allow anyone to be killed in my presence… Go and be fortified!”
