Nollywood actress Omobolarinde Akinyanju, widely known as Ashabi, singer Portable 3rd baby mama has clapped back at critics following the backlash from her recent interview.
Reacting to the online outrage, Ashabi slammed social media users for getting emotional over snippets without understanding the full context.
She pointed out that many people only watched short clips instead of the complete interview on YouTube before forming opinions.
According to the actress, everyone is entitled to their own perspective, stressing that people are different and won’t always see things the same way.
“You watch a short clip and start crying over an issue that doesn’t really concern you. Sensible people watched the full interview on YouTube.
Know this and know peace: I’m not you, and we can’t all sleep and face the same direction. If you truly want to understand the interview, go and watch the full clip”, She said.
She advised those truly interested in understanding her story to watch the full interview and stop drawing rushed conclusions.
During her appearance on Oyinmomo TV, Ashabi opened up about her relationship with controversial singer Portable.
She revealed that the singer met her when she was much younger and allegedly took advantage of the situation.
Ashabi also described Portable as someone who was once caring before circumstances changed.
The actress further disclosed that Portable, now 32, has fathered 10 children, adding that she is the mother of two of them a revelation that has continued to fuel conversations online.
