Hon. Aladesuyi Kayode, popularly known as JOTINA, the Local Council Development Area (LCDA) chairman, has been kidnapped along with two other residents of Ilu Abo community in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State
The family of the abducted council boss disclosed that the kidnappers contacted them on Tuesday morning, demanding a ransom of N100 million for his release. They appealed to friends, well-wishers, and the public to assist in securing his freedom.

Those willing to help have been asked to call 09023944546 or send donations to Wema Bank, Account Name: Aladesuyi Ayomiposi, Account Number: 0252451522. The family also urged the public to share the appeal widely and pray for the safe return of the victims.
The abduction has escalated fear in the community, amid reports of increasing insecurity around Akure Airport and neighboring areas where residents have witnessed sporadic gunshots and attacks.
Earlier, the Akoko North West Youth Forum (ANWYF) called for the immediate and safe release of the council boss and the other victims, warning that the incident poses a serious threat to peace and security in the area.
