Burna Boy recently spoke about altercation involving Wizkid’s close friend, DJ Tunez.
Speaking directly about what happened, he insisted that he was the only one involved.
Narranting the incident to Shallipopi, he said; “Omo, shallipopi, No be 10 people touch that guy, na only me Burna touch him, I only gave him two slaps,” he said.
He added a dramatic emphasis on his honesty:
“I sw£@r with my mother, if I dey lie, make 0gun carry my mama go anywhere wey Wizkid’s mama dey.”
Burna Boy also commented on the response he expected versus what actually happened. Instead of a direct confrontation from Wizkid, he noticed only online activity.
“His oga heard, was thinking he will send squad, He come go dey tweet, judt tweet ooo, na internet their own power dey, I just wasted my time, was even rating the gu before. We na real life our own power dey…”
Reactions to his statements have been mixed. Some people doubt Burna Boy’s account and question whether he truly values his mother, pointing to alleged video evidence as proof against his version of events.
