Protesters took to the streets of Abuja on Thursday, urging opposition figures including former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and former Senate President, David Mark to keep away from the African Democratic Congress (ADC)

The march was led by the factional National Chairman of the ADC, Nafiu Bala, who accused the political leaders of attempting to take over the party.

Bala was joined by ADC House of Representatives member Leke Abejide as they rallied with supporters holding placards bearing messages such as “Woe to Political Marauders” and “Hon. Nafiu Bala, We Stand With You.”

The demonstration appears to be a response to an earlier protest organized by the David Mark faction at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters.

  1. Instead of coming together as one family to work together in unity, some people are allowing Tinubu and APC to scarter what they have laboured to build over the years.

How much did Tinubu and his footsoldiers pay to succed in using members of same family to scarter the family?🤔

  2. This was the same thing Tinubu did to PDP in 2023. He divided the party to make them compete against themselves, instead of collectively competing against APC…
