Toyin Abraham has dismissed reports claiming she was behind the alleged re-arrest of an X influencer, Big Ayo, following their online clash in 2024
Reacting to the viral claim on Tuesday, the actress described it as completely untrue, stating that she had no involvement in any arrest and was occupied with filming at the time the story began circulating.

“Arrest Ayo as how, pls this is fake and false news. I’m on set filming. Pls kindly disregard. I didn’t get Ayo or anyone arrested; it’s all love from me. Thank you and I will advise to kindly take this down pls,” she said.
The allegation reportedly originated from a now-deleted post by an X user, Khan, who claimed that Big Ayo had been arrested again on the actress’s orders. The post quickly gained traction online, reviving discussions about her past dealings with social media critics.
However, another user, Prince Adeshina, countered the claim, clarifying that the actress was on a movie set and had no connection to any arrest. His statement was later acknowledged by Toyin Abraham through a repost.
“For the attention of the general public: Toyin Abraham was at a movie location and did not arrest Ayo. We urge the general public to consider the circulating report as fake news,” Adeshina wrote, adding that the source of the claim may be asked to provide evidence.
The controversy appears to stem from a previous incident in July 2024, when the actress took legal steps against individuals accused of cyberbullying her online.
