TikTok creator Love Dooshima has regained her freedom after spending hours in police custody over a video in which she reviewed a loaf of bread
She had earlier been summoned by the Nigeria Police Force following allegations of cyberstalking, fraud, and mischief linked to the video. The situation came to light after influencer Lucky Udu shared a message from Dooshima confirming she had been invited for questioning.
“I have received an invitation to police headquarters to come for an interview because I have been reported for cyberstalking, fraud, mischief and so on.”

Human rights lawyer Inibehe Effiong later revealed that the content creator was released around 12:30am on Tuesday after intervention from senior police officials.
According to him, Dooshima had reported to the Zone 7 Police Headquarters in Abuja at about 12pm on Monday, April 20, 2026, but was subsequently held in custody.
“We received a distress call that she honoured police invitation since 12pm on Monday, April 20, 2026, but she was detained afterwards,” he said.
Effiong added that he and others visited the police facility overnight to push for her release, noting that the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, stepped in and ordered that she be freed.
“Following the intervention of the IGP, she has been released at about 12:30am today, Tuesday, April 21, 2026. We will be back by daybreak,” he said.
