Blord has suggested that his recent arrest and detention were politically motivated, linking the incident to his support for a particular political candidate
He was arrested and remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja on April 1 over allegations including criminal conspiracy, impersonation, and the alleged unauthorised use of activist Martins Otse (VeryDarkMan)’s identity.

After spending weeks in custody, he was granted bail on April 17 by Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court in Abuja and was later released.
Speaking on Tuesday after arriving at the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, where he was greeted by supporters, the 28-year-old insisted he would not be pressured or influenced by political interests outside his region.
He maintained that his ordeal was connected to his political stance, saying his support for a “brother” had made him a target.
“I’m very proud to be an Ndi Igbo. They can never intimidate me. What you people saw wasn’t a small fight. It is politics because I want to support my brother; they want to deal with me. I can never be bought.”
