Asake revealed that he stopped dancing professionally because it could not provide the level of income he wanted, prompting a full shift to music
In an interview with African Voices, the ‘Omo Ope’ crooner said he still enjoys dancing and continues to do it, but chose to focus on music for financial reasons.
He said dancing could not deliver the earnings he was targeting.
“I love dancing so much, I can’t do without dancing, but the truth is I had to leave it because of my love for money because I know the type of money I want dancing can’t give me,” Asake said.
