The founder of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has shared how a church member whose life took a dramatic turn after losing his job in Port Harcourt.
“One of my sons. He is from RIVERS STATE. He was working Nepa port harcourt. Him , his wife and children are committed members of OPM Church.”
According to him, the man, a certified electrician, was deeply devoted to the church and made a controversial personal decision by tattooing “OPM” on his hand, despite the ministry’s stance against tattoos.
“Because of his passion and love for opm church he tattooed oPM on his hand. Remember OPM Church don’t approve any form of tattooed on your body even if you tattoo OPM.”
The situation reportedly escalated at his workplace when his employer demanded that he remove the tattoo or risk losing his job. The electrician appealed, explaining that it did not affect his professional duties, but his boss remained adamant.
“One day his boss in the office saw the tattoo and told him to remove it. He pleads with his boss, but his boss insist he must remove it to be fired.”
Despite initial efforts to intervene through contacts at the Port Harcourt headquarters, the man was eventually dismissed, raising concerns about how he would provide for his family.
The OPM founder explained that he later stepped in to assist, helping the man secure international travel documents and connecting him to a new opportunity abroad.
“I used my connect to get a job for him in one of the biggest power generation company in QATER as an Electrician like the job he was doing in Nigeria… And his salary is more than 50 times what he was earning in Nepa Nigeria and he has continued to be faithful in his tithes.”
The electrician is now reportedly working in Qatar with significantly improved pay and added benefits such as accommodation and transportation.
