British actor Michael Pennington, widely recognized for playing De.ath Star Commander Moff Jerjerrod in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, has d!ed at the age of 82
The veteran actor passed away on Sunday.
Born on June 7, 1943, in Cambridge, Pennington began his acting journey in 1965 with a supporting role in the BBC miniseries The War of the Roses.
Over the years, he built a respected career in film, television, and theater, becoming a familiar face to audiences around the world.
Pennington was married to actress Katharine Barker in 1964, and the pair welcomed a son, Mark, before divorcing in 1967.
Though many fans remember him for his role in the “Star Wars” franchise, the British actor left behind a decades-long legacy in entertainment.
