Former U.S. President Donald Trump has praised the Nigerian government following a joint military operation that led to the k!lling of Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, identified as the second-in-command of ISIS globally.
Trump disclosed that the operation was carried out by American forces in collaboration with the Armed Forces of Nigeria, describing it as “flawlessly executed” and highly complex.

He said the mission targeted what he called “the most active terrorist in the world,” noting that intelligence sources had tracked al-Minuki’s movements after he allegedly attempted to hide in Africa.
He added that the ISIS leader would no longer be able to coordinate attacks or threaten civilians in Africa or the United States, stressing that the group’s global operations had been significantly weakened by the development.
He said: “Tonight, at my direction, brave American forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and very complex mission to eliminate the most active terrorist in the world from the battlefield. Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second in command of ISIS globally, thought he could hide in Africa, but little did he know we had sources who kept us informed on what he was doing. He will no longer terrorize the people of Africa, or help plan operations to target Americans. With his removal, ISIS’s global operation is greatly diminished. Thank you to the Government of Nigeria for your partnership on this operation. GOD BLESS AMERICA! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
