Cubana Chief Priest has opened up about the strong backing he receives from top political figures in APC
During an interview with Peller, he said that several influential politicians continue to show him support despite criticisms surrounding his growing political connections.
Cubana Chief Priest said many of his associates value his influence, especially among young Nigerians, and often reward his loyalty generously.
Speaking about the level of care he receives, Cubana Chief Priest recounted a conversation with one of his political allies who checked up on him and reminded him of the luxury gifts he had received.
“Man of the parties is pampering me. They are like, oh, CP, he accommodates you, so it’s working in my favor. One of my chairmen called me today and said, ‘CP, are you okay?’ I told him I’m trying. He said no worry. He reminded me that he bought a brand new Lexus LX 700h for me. He said, ‘You’re my honorable for life,’” he said.
The celebrity barman also addressed criticism from online trolls, insisting that negative comments would never weaken his determination or political ambitions.
“I’ll never give up even if I lose again. All these people wey dey troll me for IG and Twitter, I checked their pages and none of them get G-Wagon. How will I be sad over what poor men are saying? Maybe God wants me to be the Governor,” he stated.
