At the wedding ceremony of his daughter, Lagos transport union chairman, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, shared heartfelt advice with his new son-in-law concerning marriage and family life.
Speaking during the event, he openly appealed to the groom to remain committed to his daughter and avoid bringing another woman into their marriage.
According to him, young people of this generation prefer a peaceful and stable home instead of a polygamous setting.
“My daughter is not asking too much, all she wants from her husband she’s getting married to today is peace of mind and she doesn’t want any Co -wives issues in their marriage. She doesn’t want her husband to get married to another lady.
‘I know l got married to 3 wives but that was then now that l am exposed l can’t ask any of my wives to leave my house but you know these our Genz children they don’t want polygamous lifestyle.Please, my son inlaw don’t get married to another lady give my daughter peace of mind,” he said.
MC Oluomo’s message came from a place of experience. Even though he built a polygamous family himself, he admitted that times have changed and many young couples now prefer a marriage centered on love, loyalty and peace of mind.
