Gospel singer Yinka Alaseyori has weighed in on the abduction of teachers and schoolchildren in Oyo State, explaining why prayers are needed at this crucial time
Speaking on the incident, Alaseyori acknowledged the efforts of President Bola Tinubu and security agencies, insisting that authorities are working to rescue those in captivity.
She however assumes band!ts might also be working with Jazz, saying soldiers might get to the bush in a rescue effort, but might not see the band!ts due to jazz, and so, that’s where prayers comes in.
She said; “We need to pray, You can’t say the President and our armed forces are not working, they’re working. They might have sent security agents to the forest and something will just cover their eyes and won’t allow them see the terrorist, that’s where prayers come in.”
Her comments come amid ongoing efforts by the Oyo State Government and security operatives to secure the release of the abducted pupils and teachers from Oriire Local Government Area.
