Gospel singer Adeyinka Alaseyori has weighed in on the abduction of teachers and schoolchildren in Oyo State, calling on Nigerians to intensify prayers for the safe return of the victims
Speaking on the incident, Alaseyori acknowledged the efforts of President Bola Tinubu and security agencies, insisting that authorities are working to rescue those still in captivity.

Her comments come amid ongoing efforts by the Oyo State Government and security operatives to secure the release of the abducted pupils and teachers from Oriire Local Government Area.
According to the gospel minister, prayer remains a vital part of the rescue process, as she believes spiritual intervention is needed alongside security operations.
Alaseyori urged Nigerians to continue seeking divine intervention for the kidnapped children and teachers, expressing hope that they would soon be reunited with their families.
“We need to pray, You can’t say the President and our armed forces are not working, they’re working. They might have sent security agents to the forest and something will just cover their eyes and won’t allow them see the terrorist, that’s where prayers come in.”, she said.
