Protesters on Tuesday forcefully gained access into the Ogun State Government House during a large demonstration organised over the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State
The protest, linked to the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) and other concerned groups, escalated as demonstrators pushed against the main gate of the Government House despite attempts by security operatives to stop them.

In a video from the scene, the protesters were seen forcefully shoving the gate while security agents on the other side repeatedly ordered them to halt their actions.
However, the warnings were ignored as the crowd continued to press forward until they eventually broke through and entered the premises, many of them carrying placards and chanting demands for the immediate release of the abducted pupils and teachers.

The demonstration is part of growing outrage over the kidnapping incident in Oyo State, with teachers and residents calling on authorities to urgently rescue the victims and improve security in schools across affected communities.
