Liverpool FC have confirmed the appointment of Andoni Iraola as their new head coach following the departure of Arne Slot.
The Spaniard has signed a two-year contract with the Premier League champions and arrives at Anfield after an impressive spell with AFC Bournemouth.

Iraola was spotted leaving Liverpool’s training complex on Thursday after completing the formalities of his appointment. He had earlier travelled from San Sebastian to Merseyside to finalise the deal.
Speaking after taking charge, the 43-year-old expressed his excitement at joining one of football’s most successful clubs.
“I am really excited. You know Liverpool is a massive club, one of the biggest in the world, but when you get closer and understand more about the club, you realise how special it is.
“Liverpool is Liverpool. The supporters, the atmosphere, the players, and the opportunity to compete for trophies make it an incredible place to be. I can’t think of a more attractive challenge,” he said.
